1 AN ORDINANCE to designate the Gottlieb Storz Residence, located at 3708 Farnam Street
2 as a Landmark pursuant to the Landmark Heritage Preservation Ordinance of the
3> City of Omaha.
4- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
5 Section I. That the Gottlieb Storz Residence is located at 3708 Farnam Street,
6 which is on the following described land, to wit:
7 Lots I I, 12 and 13 and adjacent vacated alley and South 29 feet of part Lot 10,
8 Alamo Plaza Addition,Douglas County,Nebraska
9 Section 2. That for the reasons recited in Landmarks Heritage Preservation
10 Commission Resolution attached hereto as Exhibit I, and made a part hereof as if fully set
11 forth herein, the architectural characteristics of the Gottlieb Storz Residence are hereby
12 deemed significant and worthy of preservation.
13 Section 3. That the Gottlieb Storz Residence is hereby designated pursuant to
14 Section 24-61 of the Omaha Municipal Code, and hereby subject to all of the provisions of
IS Landmark Heritage Preservation,Ch. 24, Art. II.of the City of Omaha.
16 Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fifteen (15)days
17 from and after the date of its passage.
