The ordinance that created the Property Maintenance Appeals Board requires that Board members be appointed as representatives of designated groups for specified staggered initial terms. The six persons appointed by this resolution meet the requirements of the ordinance. Because the ordinance requires the Board have nine members, two positions with a one-year term and one position with a two-year term remain vacant. Additional members will be submitted to the City Council in the near future. The Résumés of the initial appointees are attached for your information.
