WHEREAS, Section 4.04 of the Omaha City Charter created and established a
Human Rights and Relations Board; and,
WHEREAS, Section 4.04 of the Omaha City Charter empowers the Mayor to appoint
candidates to be confirmed by the City Council as members of the Human Rights and Relations
Board; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert has nominated Aura E. Whitney-Jackson for
