Ran for the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature in the Omaha metro area's District 31 for an open-seat.

reduced spending, public safety and more local control for our schools. The campaign was
unsuccessful by the margin of 51-49 (800 votes). Was endorsed by every Republican office holder in
the state of Nebraska, the State Chamber of Commerce, and the Republican State Legislative
Committee. While a candidate at the Republican National Convention, I appeared live on the Fox
News Channel and Univision as a Hispanic Republican Women.
