Served on project team for the redesign of interior gate layouts at the following airports:
Nashville, Detroit, Louisville, Indianapolis, Jackson MS, Orlando,Jacksonville, Ft. Lauderdale, West
Palm Beach, Tampa, and Ft. Myers. Responsibilities included design and documentation,

review for URS Seattle office, client support for airport administration meetings, construction

MDTA East Operations Facility-Prince Georae's County MD (2009 design; 2011 construction)
Served as Deputy PM for Construction Administration and LEED Gold Certification for the 30,000
s.f. police/maintenance building for the MDTA. Responsibilities included LEED/USGBC facilitation,
construction administration, client meetings and communication, interdisciplinary coordination
with internal staff and external consultants.
Bonnie Ridge Community Center-Baltimore County MD (2005 design; 2006 construction)
Served as Project Architect and Project Manager for a 12,000 s.f. two-story community center
containing offices, fitness center, kitchen, locker rooms, support spaces, and swimming pool.
Responsibilities included design and documentation, project management, construction
administration, interdisciplinary coordination with external consultants, client meetings and
communication, and permit filing.
Government and Military Projects
USPS Orlando L&DC Interior Renovation-Orlando FL (2007 design; 2008 construction)
Served as Deputy Project Manager and led the Construction Administration phase for the
renovation of an existing facility with new work totaling 188,000 s.f.The scope included a full
service construction documents package as well as construction administration responsibilities
including pre-bid and pre-construction meetings and RFI responses. Responsibilities included field
measurement, design and documentation, client communication, interdisciplinary coordination,
construction administration, permit filing and meetings with Orlando permit officials.
APG Building E5100 Expansion -Aberdeen MD (2007-2009 design)
Served on project team for Schematic Design phase of 14,000 s.f. addition to an existing testing
laboratory facility for the US Army Corps of Engineers to house office spaces, meeting rooms,
library,and related support spaces, as well as upgrades to existing laboratories. Responsibilities
included design and documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination with internal staff.
Residential Projects
Waverly Gardens Independent Living Apartments, Howard County MD (2004 design; 2006
construction)
As the first project in Maryland to receive State Green Building Tax Credits, this $9.7M
assemblage of 102 one-and two-bedroom units sought to provide an upscale atmosphere for
the area's active senior adult community. Responsibilities included schematic design and
documentation, client meetings and communication, interdisciplinary coordination with internal
staff, and LEED/sustainability facilitation.
St. Mark's Senior Apartments,Silver Spring MD (2002 design; 2003 construction)
Market-rate senior living facility including 80 one-and two-bedroom units on a four-acre site.
Responsibilities included design and documentation, client meetings and communication,
interdisciplinary coordination with internal staff, and permit filing.
Educational Projects
Limited Renovation of Catonsville High School, Baltimore County MD (2008 design; 2010
construction)
Led the Feasibility Study, Design, and Construction Administration efforts as Deputy Project
Manager for this$15M project, and was responsible for integrating the interior renovation design
from feasibility study phase through construction documents. Worked closely with the design
team to develop the three building additions, as well as improvements to existing instructional
and planning areas, building envelope, and ADA accessibility upgrades within the building and
on the campus. Responsibilities included field measurement, design and documentation, client
meetings and communication, interdisciplinary coordination with internal staff and external
consultants, construction administration, cost estimating, permit filing, and initial feasibility study
and related documentation.
Southern High School, Anne Arundel County MD (2010 design;2011 construction)
Served as Assistant Project Manager for the design and construction administration for limited
renovations of an existing high school facility. MEP and IT upgrades, new laboratory casework,
and interior classroom finishes, as well as upgrades to chemical preparation and storage areas,
and associated support spaces. Responsibilities included design and documentation, client
meetings and communication, interdisciplinary coordination with internal staff, project
management, cost estimates, permit filing, project execution plan, and initial proposal/contract.
Elevator and ADA Accessibility Addition, Human Resource Building for the Baltimore
County Public Schools MD (2008 design; 2009 construction)
Served as Project Architect and Deputy Project Manager for improvements to provide
accessibility to an existing historic structure. Responsibilities included field measurement, design
and documentation, client meetings and communication, interdisciplinary coordination with
internal staff, project management, construction administration, cost estimating, and permit
filing.
Marketing Experience
Managed a Business Support Team responsible for all phases of proposals, project set-up,
accounting, deliverables, and close-out. Assisted with the composition and editing of multiple
proposals, project profiles, short-list presentations, and other marketing documents, with a focus
on state and local agencies, as well as federal government and SF330 format.
Volunteer Experience
I am a member of the Omaha Public Library Board of Trustees (mayoral appointment). I was also
appointed to serve on the Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee for Omaha Public Schools, and I
volunteer in the role of Treasurer for the Sunny Slope Elementary PTA. I am Vice-President of
Leadership Circle, and regularly attend other local professional and political events including
NEGOP and DCRP meetings.
