Transmitted herewith is a Resolution authorizing the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau
(OCVB) to issue payment to the Swim Trials, LLC. in the amount of$171,533.99 for utilization
of the reservation housing system during the US Olympic Swim Trials held at the CenturyLink
Center between June 23, 2016 and July 3, 2016.
The $171,533.99 is the total cost for such agreement and will be paid from Fiscal Year 2016,
Fund No. 21109, Organization No. 115921,Account No. 42252.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCVB) partnered with
the Swim Trials, LLC. in providing housing services for the US Olympic Swim Trials; and,
WHEREAS, the OCVB partnered with the Swim Trials, LLC. to book over 21,000
room nights at 49 hotel properties across the metro area for the US Olympic Swim Trials
held at the CenturyLink Center between June 23, 2016 and July 3, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, as detailed within the contractual agreement with the Swim Trials,
LLC., the OCVB shall pay the Swim Trials, LLC. $171,533.99 in housing commission;
and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Omaha Convention and Visitors
Bureau's appropriation in the amount of$171,533.99 for housing commission to the Swim
Trials, LLC. for the US Olympic Swim Trials held at the CenturyLink Center from June 23,
2016 to July 3, 2016, is hereby approved.
FURTHER THAT, the Finance Director is authorized to make payment in an
amount not to exceed $171,533.99 from Fiscal Year 2016, Fund No. 21109, Organization
No. 115921, Account No. 42252.
