The attached Resolution approves the contract with Grunwald Mechanical Contractors &
Engineers for OPW 52907, PCWWTP Burner#3 & Chemical Feed System Upgrade.
The following bid was received on November 30, 2016. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.

Grunwald Mechanical Contractors & Engineers $200,661.00 (Low Bid)
Foley Company $307,000.00
Grunwald Mechanical Contractors & Engineers has filed the required Contract Compliance
Report Form (CC-1), as determined by the Human Rights and Relations Department.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 52907 from the Sewer Revenue
Improvements Fund 21124, Capital Asset Replacement Program Organization 116913, 2016
year funding.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from Grunwald
Mechanical Contractors & Engineers in the amount of $200,661.00, being the lowest and best
bid received, and requests your consideration and approval of this Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were submitted on November 30, 2016 for OPW 52907, PCWWTP
Burner#3 & Chemical Feed System Upgrade Project; and,
WHEREAS, Grunwald Mechanical Contractors & Engineers submitted a bid of
$200,661.00, being the lowest and best bid received for OPW 52907; and,
WHEREAS, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 52907 from
the Sewer Revenue Improvements Fund 21124, Capital Asset Replacement Program
Organization 116913, 2016 year funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with Grunwald Mechanical
Contractors & Engineers for OPW 52907, PCWWTP Burner #3 & Chemical Feed System
Upgrade Project, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of $200,661.00 for OPW
52907, from the Sewer Revenue Improvements Fund 21124, Capital Asset Replacement
Program Organization 116913, year 2016 funding.
