Submitted herewith is a proposed Ordinance pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal
Code to amend a Class"B" Flammable Liquids Storage District known as B-195.'The amendment
will increase the total capacity to 25,000 gallons of Class 2 liquid at that site. District B-195 is located
at Children's Hospital, 8200 Dodge Street. Its legal description is set forth in the attached
documents.

AN ORDINANCE pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal Code to amend an existing
Class "B" Flammable Liquids Storage District, known as District No. B-195 at Children's
Hospital, 8200 Dodge Street as requested by Dan Eyerly; to increase the total
capacity to 25,000 gallons of Class 2 liquid at that site; and to provide the effective date
hereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha Municipal Code,the Class"B"Oil
District known as District No. B-195, located at Children's Hospital, 8200 Dodge Street, be and
hereby is amended to increase the total capacity to 25,000 gallons of Class 2 liquid at that site, as
requested by Dan Eyerly, and as described in the attached legal description and shown on the plat
plan attached hereto.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fifteen(15)days after the date
of its passage.

Building and Development Division has inspected and approved the increase in capacity of the •
current Flammable Liquids District B-195, at 4626 8200 Dodge Street. The current District capacity
is 20,000 gallons of Class 2 liquid. The property owner is requesting an additional 5,000 gallons of
Class 2 liquid. The Class 2 liquids will be stored in two 10,000 gallon tanks and two 2,500 gallon
tanks. Total fuel capacity of this district will become 25,000 gallons of Class 2 liquid.
If accepted, this location will remain known as District B-195.

district is attached. The attached drawing shows the location of the proposed tank placement on the
property. The parcel is currently zoned GO-ACI-2(65). Adjoining parcels are zoned GC-ACI-2(65), CC-
ACI-2(PL), R7, CC, and GO. Does this tank placement still meet the required and current zoning code
setbacks?

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That there be established pursuant to Section 40-251 of the Omaha
Municipal Code a new Class "B" Oil District to be known as District No. B-195, to be
located at 8300 Dodge Street (also addressed as 8200 Dodge Street), as requested by
Dan Eyerly for Children's Hospital, and as described in the attached legal description and
shown on the plat plan attached hereto.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fifteen (15)days after
the date of its passage. .

location for aboveground tank storage of 20,000 gallons of a Class 2 liquid.
The Class 2 liquid will be stored in two 10,000 gallon tanks. Total fuel
capacity of this district will be 20,000 gallons of a Class 2 liquid.
If accepted, this location will remain known as District B-195.
