Transmitted herewith is an Ordinance approving the bid from Allied Oil & Tire fOr the City of
Omaha: Oils, Lubricants: and Fluids Project opened through Douglas County Purchasing
Department. Individual POs,.will be created When the work orders are entered into the fleet
management system, CCG Faster.
Competitive Bids were held on October 18, 2017 for this project, where Allied Oil & Tire was
determined to be the lowest and best bidder. A detailed bid tabulation is attached. The annual
cost of this contract is estimated to be $129,373.75. The bid is fOr a one year price agreement
with the option to extend for an additional (2) two, (1) one year extensions upon agreement by
both parties.
The cost of this bid'will be paid from the General Fund 11111, Fuel and Oil Organization 116174,
year 2017 expenditures.
Allied Oil & Tire has a current Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1) on file. As is City policy,
,the.Human Rights and Relations Department will review the contractor to ensure compliance with
the:Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from Allied Oil &Tire being
the lowest and best bid received, and requests your consideration and approval of this,'Ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE approving a bid and multiple Purchase Orders from Allied Oil &Tire for the City
of Omaha: Oils, Lubricants and Fluids Project bid submitted through Douglas County
Purchasing Department on October 18, 2017, with an annual estimated cost of
$129,373.75 for a (1) one year price agreement with the option to extend for an additional
(2) two, (1) one year extensions upon agreement by both parties; involving the payment
of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of
the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments from a specific
account; and, to provide an effective date hereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That the bid from Allied Oil & Tire for the City of Omaha: Oils, Lubricants
and Fluids Project, based on the bid submitted to Douglas Country Purchasing on October 18,
2017 with an annual estimated cost of $129,373.75, be awarded for a one year term with the
option of two, one year extensions.
Section 2. That payments for the City of Omaha: Oils, Lubricants and Fluids, involving
appropriations of more than one year, are authorized in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home
Rule Charter of 1956, as amended.
Section 3. That cost of this Purchase Order shall be paid through the General Fund
11111, Fuel and Oil Organization 116174, year 2017 expenditures.
Section 4. That this Ordinance, being administrative in nature, shall take effect and be
in full force upon the date of its passage.
