Transmitted herewith is a.Resolution`approving Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with the Nebraska
Department of. Transportation (referred to aS Nebraska Department Of' Roads in original
agreement) for 144th Street,Traffic Control System, Originally identified as MAPA-5001(17),
State Control No. 22449, and OPW 51923.
The City Council approved the Program Agreement for this project by City Council Resolution No.
351 on March 29, 2011. It has now become'necessary to correct,the stated•funding source and
Project Number. The funding source will now be the Highway Safety Improvement Project(HSIP)
and the'Project Number.will be changed to H'SIP-5001(17). The funding split is designated in this
Supplemental Agreement:No. 1 as a 90 percent federal share and 10 percent local share. The
local share of this funding will be paid from the 20'14 Transportation Bond Fund 13184,
Transportation Bonds Organization 117117.
Authorization of this agreement by the Omaha City Council is required by the Nebraska
Department of Transportation.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the City of Omaha approved a Program Agreement with the Nebraska
Department of Roads for the 144th Street Traffic Control System Project, originally identified as
MAPA-5001(17), State Control No. 22449, and OPW 51923, by City Council Resolution No. 351
on March 29, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, it now becomes necessary to correct the stated funding source and Project
Number where the funding source is now Highway Safety Improvement Project (HSIP) and the
Project Number is HSIP-5001(17) as delineated in the attached Supplemental Agreement No. 1,
all other provisions of the original agreement will remain in full force and effect; and,
WHEREAS, the financial responsibilities as detailed in the attached Supplemental
Agreement No. 1, which by this reference becomes a part hereof, are to be comprised of a funding
split of 90 percent federal funds and 10 percent local share, where the local share will be paid
from the 2014 Transportation Bond Fund 13184, Transportation Bonds Organization 117117.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with the
Nebraska Department of Transportation for the 144th Street Traffic Control System Project, now
known as HSIP-5001(17), State Control No. 22449, and OPW 51923, with the City's local share
being 10 percent, to be paid from the 2014 Transportation Bond Fund 13184, Transportation
Bonds Organization.117117, is hereby approved; and,
THAT, the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the attached
Agreement on behalf of the City of Omaha.
