WHEREAS, Section 4.04 of the Omaha City Charter created and established a
Human Rights and Relations Board; and,
WHEREAS, Section 4.04 of the Omaha City Charter empowers the Mayor to appoint
candidates to be confirmed by the City Council as members of the Human Rights and Relations
Board; and, .
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert has nominated Nicole N. Mitchell for appointment
as a member of the Human Rights and Relations Board to replace Aura Whitney-Jackson,who has
resigned, beginning February 7, 2018 and expiring June 5, 2020.
