RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 4.04 of the Omaha City Charter created and established a
Human Rights and Relations Board; and,
WHEREAS, Section 4.04 of the Omaha City Charter empowers the Mayor to appoint
candidates to be confirmed by the City Council as members of the Human Rights and Relations
Board; and, .
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert has nominated Reverend Royal D. Carleton for
reappointment as a member of the Human Rights and Relations Board, to serve a three-year term•
commencing on March 7, 2018, and expiring March 6, 2021.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT,the reappointment by Mayor Jean Stothert of Royal D. Carleton as a member
