RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, sections 24-87 through 24-105 of the Omaha Municipal Code
provide for an Urban Design Review Board, to review and provide recommendations to improve
the quality of building design in the planning, design, development and construction of
structures in the City; and,
WHEREAS, Section 24-92.provides that the Mayor shall appoint members; and,
WHEREAS, section 24-91(a)(4) provides that one member of the Board shall be
a professional planner; and,
WHEREAS, Bob Peters' current term will expire May 7, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert has reappointed Bob Peters as the professional
planner member of the Urban Design Review Board, to serve a three-year term commencing on
May 8, 2018 and expiring May 7, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment by Mayor Jean Stothert of Bob Peters as the
professional planner member of the Urban Design Review Board, to serve a three-year term
commencing May 8, 2018 and expiring May 7, 2021, be and hereby is confirmed and approved.

Robert Peters'forty-five year urban design and development career showcases his commitment to
planning excellence and innovation in a wide variety of imaginative housing and large-scale economic
development projects throughout Omaha.After serving as the Director of Planning for the City of
Omaha from 1996 to 2005,Mr.Peters established an Omaha-based consulting firm with specialization in
project management,sustainable financing,land use planning and development.Since its inception,the
Robert Peters Company has provided a wide range of services including site selection,feasibility
analysis,design management,owner representation,tax increment financing and historic tax credit
incentives to prominent members of Omaha's corporate and development communities including The
North Central Group, Noddle Companies,Mutual of Omaha,The Gallup Organization,Conagra Brands,
The Gavilon Group,the Omaha Airport Authority,the City of Omaha,Tetrad Development Corporation,
Jun Kaneko Studio,P.J.Morgan Company,Hearst Television,Magnum Development Corporation,
Cornerstone Associates,NewStreet Properties,Security National Bank and Broadmoor Development
Company.Mr. Peters has received numerous national design and development awards including the
