seeking confirmation of the appointment of Katherine Zimmer to serve as a regular member of the
City of Omaha Personnel Board to serve from January 31, 2018 to January 28, 2021. Ms. Zimmer
will replace Theresa Thiboudeau who resigned after being appointed to the Nebraska Legislature.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF.THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 6.04 of the City of Omaha Municipal Code created and
established the City of Omaha Personnel Board; and,
WHEREAS,the position held by Teresa Thibodeau on the City of Omaha Personnel
Board became vacant after she was appointed to the Nebraska Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, Section 6.04 of the City of Omaha Municipal Code empowers the Mayor
to appoint members to the Personnel Board; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor appointed Katherine Zimmer as a member of the City of
Omaha Personnel Board to serve a term commencing on January 31,2018 and expiring on January
28, 2021.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT,the appointment by Mayor Jean Stothert of Katherine Zimmer as a member of
the City of Omaha Personnel Board to serve the remainder of a term commencing on January 31,
