J. Lawse to serve a five-year term on the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha. Mr. Lawse's
term will expire April 15, 2018. The new term will begin April 16, 2018, and expire April 15,
2023. A copy of Mr. Lawse's Candidate Response Form and biography are attached.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Sections 14-1813, Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943, as
amended, provides for the appointment of members to the.Metropolitan Transit Authority Board;
and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Lawse's term on the Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of
Directors will expire April 15, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert desires to reappoint Daniel J. Lawse to the
Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors for a five-year term, said term to commence on
April 16, 2018, and expire on April 15, 2023; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment by Mayor Jean Stothert of Daniel J. Lawse as a
member of the Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors to serve a five-year term, which
will commence on April 16, 2018, and expire on April 15, 2023, be and hereby is confirmed and
