expired October 21,2017. Ms. Battiato's three-year term shall commence on February 27,2018 and
expire on.February 26, 2021.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 2-238 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the
appointment of members to the Board of Directors for the Omaha Municipal Land Bank; and,
WHEREAS, Diane Battiato served as a non-voting member, and her term
expired October 21, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert has reappointed Diane Battiato as a non-voting
member of the Board of Directors for the Omaha Municipal Land Bank, said term to commence
on February 27, 2018 and expire on February 26, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment by Mayor Jean Stothert of Diane Battiato to the Board
of Directors for the Omaha Municipal Land Bank as a non-voting member, said term to
commence on February 27, 2018 and expire on February 26, 2021, is hereby confirmed.

Diane, a lifelong resident of the Omaha area,has three children and 6 grandchildren.
Diane is the Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds. She became the leader of this
combined office in January 2015. Diane's mission is twofold--provide fair and equitable
property assessments in Douglas County, as well as continue her three-term success in
maintaining the integrity of the county's official property records.
Previously, Diane served as the Douglas County Register of Deeds--the first and only woman to
serve in that position. As the Register of Deeds, Diane has made many improvements in the
office — internally, with more efficient recording procedures, such as electronic recording of
land-record documents and online searching access, and externally with increased customer
service.
Diane also is a real estate broker, and owner of Battiato Real Estate. She has more than 30
years' real estate experience.
Diane served on the city council in Papillion, NE, from 1997 to 2002--two years as council
president--until moving back into Douglas County in October 2002.

NACRC (National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Clerks); one
of only 12 CPOs in the nation.
