The attached Resolution authorizes Sanitary and Improvement District (S.I.D.) #438 — The
Grove, to make improvements to existing neighborhood park, located on South 187th Street,
Omaha, NE, including improvements would consist of grading to improve drainage in certain
areas of the park, removal and replacement of concrete paths, adding picnic shelter,
construction of a half-court basketball court, construction of two (2) picnic table pads with tables,
and replacement of the existing baseball backstop. The amount of the project is $147,667.19,
including administrative costs for engineering and legal costs. 1
On December 7, 2017, the Park and Recreation Advisory Board voted for approval of the
project in the amount of$147,667.19, including administrative costs with the funding source, the
General Fund for Douglas County S.I.D. #438 (The Grove), with the conditions: See attached
list.
The Parks, Recreation, and Public Property Department request your consideration and
approval of the attached Resolution.
