Suarez Delgado to the Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission as a layperson member.
Mr. Suarez Delgado's term will expire April 23, 2018; Mr. Suarez Delgado's term will begin May
4, 2018, and expire May 3, 2021. Mr. Suarez Delgado's candidate response form and resume
are attached.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the term of Jaime Suarez Delgado on the Landmarks Heritage
Preservation Commission will expire April 23, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, Section 24-28 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides that
vacancies occurring in the membership of the Commission may be filled as provided in Section
24-26 of the Omaha Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, Section 24-26 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the Mayor
to appoint the members of this Commission; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert desires to reappoint Jaime Suarez Delgado to
the Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission as a lay person member; said term shall
commence May 4, 2018, and expire on May 3, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment by the Mayor of Jaime Suarez Delgado as a lay
member of the Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission, to serve a three-year term
commencing on May 4, 2018, and expiring on May 3, 2021, be and hereby is confirmed and
approved.
