RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 6.04 of the City of Omaha Municipal Charter created and established the
City of Omaha Personnel Board; and,
WHEREAS, the term of J. Scott Sullivan as a member of the City of Omaha Personnel Board
is set to expire on September 12, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, Section 6.04 of the City of Omaha Municipal Charter empowers the Mayor to
appoint members to the Personnel Board; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor hereby nominates J. Scott Sullivan for reappointment as a member of
the City of Omaha Personnel Board to serve a five-year term commencing upon September 12, 2018 and
expiring on September 11, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment,of J. Scott Sullivan as a member of the City of Omaha Personnel
Board to serve a term of five years commencing upon September 12, 2018 and expiring on September 11,
2023, be and hereby is confirmed.

Omaha Home Rule Charter section 8.08 requires that the City's Mayor,all Council members,and"all officers and

Biographical Sketch
J. Scott Sullivan is the President/CEO of the Nebraska Credit Union League & Affiliates. As
President, Sullivan directs the overall operations of the League with the objective of ensuring
quality service and financial stability commensurate with the best interest of the members;
establishing short-term and long-range objectives, plans, and policies subject to the approval of
the Board of Directors.
Scott was initiated into the credit union movement in April of 1989, when he was employed by
the Nebraska Credit Union League as a Governmental Affairs Specialist. During his tenure he
has served as Director of Governmental Affairs and Vice President of Governmental & Public
Relations. Sullivan assumed his role as President/CEO in May of 2000.
Scott is a current member of the Board of Directors Credit Union National Association (CUNA)
and the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL's) State Issues Advocacy
Committee. He has previously served on CUNA's State Issues Subcommittee, CUNA's
Cooperative Alliance Committee and AACUL's Charter Conversion/Enhancement Task Force.
Scott received his Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of Northern
Iowa, and Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
