RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department require manhole encapsulation system services;
and,
WHEREAS, due to the specialized nature of this type of equipment and services, it is
recommended that the bidding procedures be waived in accordance with Section 5.16 of the
Home Rule Charter of 1956 for the purchase of unique or non-competitive items; and,
.WHEREAS, the cost of this purchase totaling $30,518.80 is to be paid from the Sewer
Revenue Fund 21121, Maintenance Organization 116511, year 2019 funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by Mayor,Ma or, the Purchasing Agent ent be authorized to issue a
Purchase Order to CCI Piping Systems for the purchase of WrapidSeal Manhole Encapsulation
System to be utilized by the Sewer Maintenance Division in the amount of$30,518.80, is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of this purchase from the
Sewer Revenue Fund 21121, Maintenance Organization 116511, year 2019 funding.
