RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the City of Omaha desires to enter into an agreement for the connection to
fiber optic cable in conjunction with the 144th Street Adaptive Traffic Control System Project known
as HSIP-5001(17), CN 22449, and OPW 51923; and,
WHEREAS, Unite Private Networks, LLC has agreed to facilitate this connection,
according to the attached Utility Agreement, which by this reference becomes a part hereof; and,
WHEREAS, the City's local funding cost share for this project is estimated to be
$12,340.96, which will be paid from the 2018 Transportation Bond Fund 13185, Transportation
Bonds Organization 117117.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Utility Agreement between the City of Omaha
and the Unite Private Networks, LLC for the 144th Street Adaptive Traffic Control System Project
known as HSIP-5001(17), CN 22449, and OPW 51923 with the City's 100% share of the project
cost, estimated to be $12,340.96, which will be paid from the 2018 Transportation Bond Fund
13185, Transportation Bonds Organization 117117, is hereby approved.
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the attached
Agreement on behalf of the City of Omaha.
