RES 2019-0438 - PO to Waste Management of Nebraska Inc for 92 compactor truckloads ///���,,, City Clerk Office Use Only: /����j Publication Date (if applicable): RESOLUTION NO. jv� Agenda 4/3 f 4 Date: Department: Y1!jtj45 CITY OF OMAHA LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER Omaha, Nebraska RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: WHEREAS, the Public Works Department desires to purchase ninety-two (92) Rear- loading Compactor Truckloads (plus one operator) for Collection Services for the 2019 Spring and Fall Clean-up Programs to be utilized by the Solid Waste Division; and, WHEREAS, Waste Management of Nebraska, Inc. submitted a bid to Douglas County Purchasing on March 13, 2019 in the amount of $645.00 per truckload, totaling $59,340.00; and, WHEREAS, the cost of this purchase is to be paid from the General Fund 11111, Solid Waste—Collect & Disposal Organization 116321, year 2019 funding. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Purchasing Agent be authorized to issue a Purchase Order to Waste Management of Nebraska, Inc. for the purchase of ninety-two (92) .
