Transmitted herewith is a Resolution approving the Supplemental Agreement # 1 with AECOM
Technical Services, Inc., as stewarded by the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT),
to provide additional services for MAPA-28(115), State Control No. 22587, and OPW 52496,
being the System Manager for Omaha Signal System Project, which is associated with Capital
Improvement Program Project No. 2012T514.
The original Master Service Agreement passed on November 25, 2015 provides for on-call
professional services. The Supplemental Agreement provides for additional funding necessary
for extended on-call professional services for the Project.
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has agreed to perform these additional services for a fee not
to exceed $150,000.00 of which federal funds will cover 80% of the cost, and the local share of
$30,000.00 will be paid from the 2018 Transportation Bond Fund 13185, Transportation Bonds
Organization 117117.
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has filed the required Contract Compliance Report, Form
CC-1, with the Human Rights and Relations Department.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and approval of the attached
Resolution and Supplemental Agreement.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the City of Omaha approved a Professional Services Agreement with
AECOM Technical Services, Inc., as stewarded by the Nebraska Department of Transportation
(NDOT), to provide professional engineering services for MAPA-28(115), State Control No.
22587, and OPW 52496, being the System Manager for Omaha Signal System Project, by City
Council Resolution No. 1521 on December 8, 2015; arid,
WHEREAS, extended on-call professional services are required for the project as
delineated in the attached Supplemental Agreement No. 1, which by this reference becomes a
part hereof; and,
WHEREAS, the cost for these services is an additional sum of $150,000.00, 80% of
which will be paid from federal funds, and the City's local share $30,000.00 will be paidfrom the
2018 Transportation Bond Fund 13185, Transportation Bonds Organization 117117.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with AECOM
Technical Services, Inc. for additional engineering services on MAPA-28(115), State Control No.
22587, and OPW 52496, being the System Manager for Omaha Signal System Project, with the
City's local share in the amount of $30,000.00, as stewarded by the Nebraska Department of
Transportation, to be paid from the 2018 Transportation Bond Fund 13185, Transportation
Bonds Organization 117117, is hereby approved; and,
THAT, the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the attached
Agreement on behalf of the City of Omaha.
