34. ORD. 41196 – An ordinance to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and
the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, Douglas County Administrative Office in
the amount of two hundred nineteen thousand, one hundred seventy-one and no/100
dollars ($219,171.00); to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s
FY 2016 Improving Criminal Justice Reponses to Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence
and Stalking Grant Program (ICJR), Award #2016-WE-AX-0041, awarded by the Office
on Violence Against Women (OVW); to provide funding to the Douglas County
Attorney’s Office for one (1) Domestic Violence Unit Attorney and one (1) Domestic
Violence Unit Liaison, as well as the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for one (1)
Protection Order Locate System and one (1) Civil Process Server; involving
appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule
Charter; and, providing for the effective date hereof – (First Reading was held on July

Program, from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2022, with the total cost of the
agreement being $63,000.00 per year; and, to provide for the effective date hereof –

Maintenance Contract for eighteen (18) ZOLL Defibrillators in the amount of eighty -nine
thousand, four hundred sixty-one dollars and twenty-seven cents ($89,461.27); this
Extended Warranty & Preventative Maintenance Contract is for the benefit of the City of
Omaha Fire Department and involves appropriations of more than one year in
accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as
amended; to authorize the Finance Department to make payment with the specified
