RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Destination Marketing Corporation (DMC) partnered with the Omaha Equestrian
Foundation to provide housing services for the FEI World Cup; and,
WHEREAS, the DMC partnered with the Omaha Equestrian Foundation to book and collect a housing
fee and commission from 21 hotels for 2,995 room nights utilized for the FEI World Cups held at the CHI Health
Center April 4-8, 2023; and,
WHEREAS, as agreed upon with the Omaha Equestrian Foundation, the Destination Marketing
Corporation shall pay the Omaha Equestrian Foundation in the amount of$69,892.66 for the housing fees and
commissions collected.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Destination Marketing Corporation's appropriation in the
amount of$69,892.66 for the housing fees and commissions collected to the Omaha Equestrian Foundation for
the FEI World Cup held at the CHI Health Center April 4-8, 2023, is hereby approved.
FURTHER THAT, the Finance Director is authorized to make payment in the amount of$69,892.66
from Fiscal Year 2023, Fund No. 21107 — Destination Marketing Corporation, Organization No. 115999 —
Destination Marketing Corporation, Account No. 42252—Contract Services.

The undersigned, being all of the Directors of the City of Omaha Destination Marketing
Corporation, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Corporation" hereby
consent, pursuant to Section 21-1981 of the Nebraska Nonprofit Corporation Act, to the adoption
hereof and do hereby adopt the following to be in full force and effect:
RESOLVED, that the Board hereby approves payment in an amount not to exceed
$70,000.00 to the Omaha Equestrian Foundation for the collection of a housing fee and
commission from 21 contracted hotels for the FEI World Cup held in Omaha April 4-8,
2023.
