Public Works Department Inc., as recommended by the Mayor, for SC 95-2 being transportation of sludge
Omaha/Douglas Civic Center cake from the Missouri River and Papillion Creek Wastewater Treatment Plants.

The contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance Report Form
(CC-1). As is City policy, the Human Relations Director will review the
contractor to ensure compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of SC 95-2 from the
Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Organization 1469,Fund
541 in the amount of $259,200.00 and from the Papillion Creek Wastewater
Treatment Plant Operations Organization 1468, Fund 541 in the amount of
$291,600.00.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from
American Driver Service, Inc., in the amount of$550,800.00, being the lowest
and best bid received, and requests your consideration and approval of this
Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were received on November 1, 1995 for SC 95-2 being
transportation of sludge cake from the Missouri River and Papillion Creek Wastewater Treatment
Plants; and,
WHEREAS,American Driver Service,Inc. submitted a bid of$550,800.00, being the
lowest and best bid received for SC 95-2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:

THAT,the bid of$550,800.00 from American Driver Service, Inc.for SC 95-2 being
transportation of sludge cake from the Missouri River and Papillion Creek Wastewater Treatment
Plants,being the lowest and best bid received be accepted and the Contract be awarded. •
