NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT,the legislative package of the City of Omaha for the Second Session of the •
Ninety-Fourth Legislature of the State of Nebraska shall include support for legislative proposals to
amend existing statutes to eliminate the strict liability standard for injuries to third parties arising out
of duly authorized vehicular pursuits,provided that the legislation includes mandatory training,or to
provide alternative victim compensation methods.
