Director Transmitted herewith is a Bid Tabulation and a Resolution authorizing the
Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order to John Kraft Chevrolet for five
compact automobiles for various divisions; these are replacement
automobiles.
The following bids were received on December 20, 1995.

the contractor to ensure compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is.,authorized to pay the cost of the automobile
purchases from the Construction Division Organization 1407, Fund 103 for
2 automobiles at a cost of $23,118 and for one each from the following:
Traffic Engineering Organization 1435, Fund 103; Environmental Quality
Control Organization 1483,Fund 541; and,the Parks Division Organization
1217, Fund 001.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: ,
WHEREAS, bids were received on December 20, 1995 for the purchase of five 14
compact automobiles for use by various divisions; and,

WHEREAS, John Kraft Chevrolet submitted a bid of$11,559.00 per vehicle,being
the lowest and best bid received for these compact automobiles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the bid of$11,559.00 per vehicle from John Kraft Chevrolet for a total cost
of$57,795.00 for five compact automobiles,payable as indicated below,being the lowest and best
bid received be accepted and authorizing issuance of a purchase order therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT,the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of the purchase of five
compact automobiles from the following cost centers: Construction Division Organization 1407,
Fund 103 for 2 automobiles at a cost of$23,118 and for one each from the following: Traffic
