His original drawings have flown on space shuttle Discovery and have been exhibited in Paris, and elsewhere in France. He is the current caricature artist for the Omaha Press Club's "Face on the Barroom Floor," and in addition, he takes on various commercial art projects. A painter and sculptor, recent works were inspired by his having been struck by lightning. He is the host for the Wednesday edition of Morning Classics on classical 90.7 FM, and is also the fill-in host for Otis Twelve. A two-time TEDx speaker, he often speaks on creativity. He's also a two-time finalist for a Heartland Emmy Award. Additionally, he is a creativity coach, writer, and musician. Entertainment Weekly called his memoir, Inklings: "...a powerful and moving portrait of an artist." Jeff writes music, sings, and plays guitar and mandolin in his swing band, Prairie Cats, and has performed at South by Southwest and the World Trade Center in New York. He's also an avid Francophone.
