EXHr r-r A_ ,es s PROPOSED USE STATEMENT: Royal Grove Apartments shall be an apartments project limited to persons who have attained the age of 55 or above. The apartments and amenities shall be designed to attract people who are capable of an independent living lifestyle. This gated, secured community shall include these amenities: One bedroom, one bath units of 540 S.F. with a kitchen, eating area, bedroom and bath, with a living area with access to an exterior deck or patio and storage area. Two bedroom plans feature a double master suite concept with the same amenities of the one bedroom at 863 S.F. The clubhouse will house an exercise room, a small indoor pool for aquasize classes, a catering kitchen and family dining area, plus a lounge and leasing functions. Each unit will have one parking space. The residents will mostly be retired and traffic volumes should be lower than a standard 156 unit apartment project. r, f 925A CITY OF OMAHA . 3O2-99 c//4' LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER c Omaha,Nebr noare.wher...19., 19..9. .... s.• RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: WHEREAS, Section 55-884 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for an amendment to an existing Large Project Special Use Permit; and, WHEREAS,an application for an amendment to a Large Project Special Use Permit, located Northeast of 83rd and Cass Streets has been submitted which amends the original use permit approved February 28, 1995 by the City Council,by increasing the number of allowed multiple family residential units; and, WHEREAS, the City Planning Board has recommended that said amendment be granted pursuant to the application,a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit"A"and made a part hereof by this reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: THAT, the application for an amendment to an existing Large Project Special Use Permit,approved by City Council on February 28, 1995,to increase the number of allowed multiple family residential units, located Northeast of 83rd and Cass Streets, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit "A"of the above referenced application,and all applicable local or state statutes,ordinances or regulations are complied with.
