RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 4.06 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as
amended,provides that appointments to the Park and Recreation Board shall be made by the Mayor
and confirmed by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS,Paula Commers was appointed to the Park and Recreation Board for a
term that expires on December 31, 1996; and,
WHEREAS,Mayor Hal Daub has appointed Jeannie M. Matthews to a term on the
Park and Recreation Board, said term to commence January 1, 1997, and to expire December 31,
1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the appointment by Mayor Hal Daub of Jeannie M.Matthews as a member
of the Park and Recreation Board to serve a term commencing January 1, 1997, and expiring
December 31, 1999, is hereby confirmed.
