Mr. Robert J. Hooks appeared before the January 9, 1996 Board of Equalization and requested that his $1,649.60 assessment be reduced. In conversations with representatives of the Sewer Maintenance Division,Mr. Hooks requested that the concrete replacement cost be removed from the assessment. Although an entire street panel was replaced in front of Mr. Hooks' home, a review of the repair records indicated that he was only assessed for the concrete removed for the actual hole which was excavated to make the sewer repairs. We find no reason 1 to reduce the amount of the assessment. WHEREAS,It having been, and being hereby adjudged, determined and established that the several lots and pieces of real estate hereinafter referred to have each been specially benefited to the full amount herein levied and assessed against each of said lots and pieces of real estate,respectively, by reason of repairing the sewer laterals in Sewer Lateral Repair Groups No. 95-1 and 95-2. THEREFORE, for the purpose of paying the cost of such sewer lateral repair, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: SECTION 1.
