Transmitted herewith is an Ordinance to amend Special Ordinance Nos. 9850,
9851, 9868, 9871, 9872 and 9876, levying special tax assessments for litter
removal and/or weed abatement in the years 1994 and 1995.
The billings were paid after the Board of Equalization Meetings and prior to the
passage of the Ordinances. The Finance Department desires to remove the
assessments and clear the liens from the property records.
Your consideration and approval of the attached Ordinance is requested.

AN ORDNANCE to amend certain portions of Special Levy Ordinance Nos. 9850, 9851, 9868,
9871, 9872 and 9876 levying an assessments for litter removal and/or weed abatement in the
years 1994 and 1995, by repealing the assessments on Lot 4, Block 2, Credit Foncier
Addition; Lot 5, Block 0, Fontenelle View Addition; Lot 1, Block 4, Arbor Place; Lot 27,
Block 4, Hawthorne Addition; Lot 5, Block 2, Sherman Ave. Park; Lot 4, Block 258, City
Lots; Lot 12, Block 50, South Omaha City Lots; Lot 10, Block 1, Pruyn Park 1st Addition;
Additions to the City of Omaha, Douglas County,Nebraska.
WHEREAS, Special Levy Ordinance Nos. 9850, 9851, 9868, 9871, 9872 and 9876 were passed by
the City Council of the City of Omaha on February 1, 1994, February 8, 1994, February 7,
1995, March 7, 1995, March 28, 1995 and April 4, 1995, respectively, levying special
assessments for litter removal and/or weed abatement on certain lots in the City of Omaha,
and it has been ascertained that the assessments on the following described property and in
the amounts so levied by Special Ordinance Nos. 9850, 9851, 9868, 9871, 9872 and 9876
should be repealed. The billings were paid after the Board of Equalization meeting and prior
to the passage of the Ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That such portion of Special Ordinance Nos. 9850, 9851, 9868, 9871, 9872 and
9876,passed February 1, 1994,February 8, 1994,February 7, 1995,March 7, 1995,March 28, 1995
