RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the mission of the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCVB) is to promote Omaha
as a visitor destination appealing to convention planners,businesses, and leisure travelers, and supporting event
organizers; and,
WHEREAS, the OCVB budget is primarily funded through the hotel lodging tax paid by out-of-town
visitors; and,
WHEREAS, in order to meet the above needs and be competitive, the City of Omaha established a
nonprofit corporation by Resolution No. 1640 on December 20, 2016, in order to enter into contracts which
provide a subsidy to an event; and,
WHEREAS, the OCVB has commitments booked through June of 2026, with an economic impact of
$38,459,383; and,
WHEREAS, the Destination Marketing Corporation Board of Directors met on July 27, 2023, and
resolved to transfer from the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau's fund in the amount of$196,903.00 to
the Corporation for convention subsidy expenditures for said; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau's appropriation in
the amount of $196,903.00 to the Destination Marketing Corporation for future commitments, is hereby
approved.

Fund No. 21109—Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau,Organization No. 115911 —OCVB—Admin to Fund

Corporation.

The undersigned, being all of the Directors of the City of Omaha Destination Marketing
Corporation, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Corporation" hereby
consent,pursuant to Section 21-1981 of the Nebraska Nonprofit Corporation Act,to the adoption
hereof and do hereby adopt the following to be in full force and effect:
RESOLVED, that the Board hereby transfers from the Omaha Convention and Visitors
Bureau Fund #21109 in the amount of$196,903.00 to the Corporation Fund #21107 for
convention subsidy expenditures.

Northern Lights Juniors was established in 1993 and is incorporated as a non-
profit corporation under section 501(c)(3). It was formed to provide an
environment where, highly motivated and athletically talented,young athletes
could get the training and competition needed to help them excel at the high
school and collegiate level. Northern Lights has been very successful in fulfilling
this goal in many tangible ways.
Over the years,the level of girl's volleyball in Minnesota has risen substantially,

play collegiate volleyball than ever before. Northern Lights Juniors is very proud
to provide such great opportunities to young women. Northern Lights is one of
the strongest clubs in Minnesota and is recognized nationally as a top program
both in terms of achievements as well as recruiting.
Northern Lights players are trained to the highest level possible,and,as a result,
our teams end up in many National Championship matches. Our teams have

It started in 1919,with a small group of farmers;
Farmers from 30 states gathered in Chicago and founded the American Farm
Bureau Federation.Their goal—speaking for themselves through their own
American Farm 2024 AFBF FUSION national organization.Farm Bureau soon became the voice of agriculture at the
