RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, on February 28, 1997,the position of Lee Sapp's term as}a member of
the Transit Authority Board of Directors shall expire, which will create a vacancy on the Transit -
Authority Board of Directors; and,
WHEREAS, Section 14-1813, Revised Statues of Nebraska 1943 as amended,
provides for the appointment to said agency; and,
WHEREAS,Mayor Daub has appointed Ally Milder to the Transit Authority Board
of Directors, said term to commence upon confirmation by the City Council and to end five years
after that date.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the appointment by the Mayor of Ally Milder as a member of the Transit
Authority Board of Directors to serve a term commencing upon confirmation by the City Council
and ending five years after that date is hereby confirmed.
