Transmitted herewith is a Bid Tabulation and a Resolution authorizing the Purchasing Agent to issue
a purchase order to Quality Equipment for the purchase of a skid loader to be used by employees in
the Sewer Maintenance Division in sewer repair and construction projects.
The following bids were received on December 18, 1996.
Contractor Total Bid
QUALITY EQUIPMENT $32,279.00 (LOW BID)
Omaha Tractor $32,775.00
James W. Bell Equipment $33,707.45
Contractors Machinery $35,729.00
The contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1). As is City
policy, the Human Relations Director will review the contractor to ensure compliance with the
Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of purchasing this skid loader from the Sewer
Maintenance Organization 1462, Fund 541.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:

WHEREAS, bids were received on December 18, 1996 for the purchase of a skid
loader for use by employees in the Sewer Maintenance Division in sewer repair and construction
projects; and,
WHEREAS,Quality Equipment submitted a bid of$32,279.00,being the lowest and
best bid received for this skid loader;a copy of the bid specifications for this piece of equipment is
on file in the Officer of the City Clerk for review.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the bid of$32,279.00 from Quality Equipment for the purchase of a skid
loader for use in sewer maintenance projects,being the lowest and best bid received be accepted and
the Purchasing Agent is authorized to issue a purchase order therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT,the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of purchasing this skid
loader from the Sewer Maintenance Organization 1462,Fund 541.
