RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Urban Development Element of the City of Omaha's Master Plan
provides for the approval of a waiver to said element;,and,
WHEREAS, a request has been received for a waiver of said element to allow
rezoning and subdivision for property located northwest of 168th Street and West Maple Road
(Thomsen Mile),more particularly described as:
Part of the south half of the southeast quarter of Section 4,Township
15 North, Range 11 East of the 5th P.M. in Douglas County,
Nebraska.
WHEREAS,the applicant has met the criteria for a waiver of the Urban Development.
Element of the City of Omaha's Master Plan; and,
WHEREAS,the Planning Board at their May 7, 1997 public hearing recommended
that said waiver be approved subject to the following conditions:
1. Lot 12 may not be included at this time.
2. Lots 2 and 8 may not be divided until the interceptor sewer is extended to
made sewer service available to the north side of the lots.
3. Commitments must be made to complete paving of 168th Street before this
development occurs. Because Douglas County's five-year road improvements
must be done without Douglas County funds.
