Mr. Lo requests that two resolutions be prepared, reappointing Mr. John
Fullerton and Ms. Beth Herr to three-year terms on the Cable Television
Advisory Committee effective July 25, 1997, and July 28, 1997, respectively.
Mr. Fullerton will serve as the Douglas County Cablevision at-large
representative for their subscribers who reside outside of the City of Omaha's
corporate limits, but within the three mile zoning jurisdiction.
Ms. Herr will serve as the Cox Communications at-large representative to those
subscribers who reside outside of the City of Omaha's corporate limits, b u t
within the three mile zoning jurisdiction.
Resumes for each of these individuals is attached, and should be attached to the
resolutions of reappointment.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
•
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Omaha has created a Cable Television
Advisory Committee; and,
WHEREAS,the Omaha Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall appoint
all members to that Committee; and,
WHEREAS,the membership of the Committee includes representatives from each of
the City Council districts, representatives of subscribers to cable companies serving areas annexed
into the City, and at-large members representing all residents of the city; and,
WHEREAS,Mr.John Fullerton is currently serving as a representative of subscribers
to Douglas County Cablevision and his term will soon expire; and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that Mr. John Fullerton should be
reappointed to serve on the Cable Television Advisory Committee as a representative of subscribers
to Douglas County Cablevision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT,Mr.John Fullerton should be and hereby is reappointed to serve on the Cable
Television Advisory Committee as an at-large representative of subscribers to Douglas County
Cablevision,for a three-year term commencing on July 25, 1997,and expiring July 24, 2000.
