PROPOSED USE STATEMENT
Enterprise Rent-A-Car proposes the establishment of an automobile rental agency
at 3131 N. 90th Street. Enterprise is in the replacement rental business, we
provide cars to insurance companies, dealerships, body shops, and corporations
while the customers cars are being repaired. The majority of Enterprise customers
actually have the vehicles delivered to them. In the office our staff performs
general office functions, takes reservations, and completes paperwork necessary
for the rental transactions.
We will have a staff of 6-8 people work at this location. Our office hours are from
7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on
Saturdays. We will be closed on Sundays. Although there are no plans to extend
the operating hours at the present time, Enterprise may decide in the future to stay
open until 8:00 pm on weekdays.
There will be a one-bay service garage at the location for cleaning the automobiles
such as vacuuming and washing. There will be no repair, engine, or body work
done at this location. This location contains parking stalls, which is sufficient
to run our business.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS,Section 55-884 of the Omaha Municipal Code, provides for the granting
of a Special Use Permit; and,

WHEREAS, an application has been submitted for a Special Use Permit to allow
Automotive rentals in a CC-Community Commercial District, located at 3131 North 90th Street,
Omaha, Nebraska; and,
WHEREAS,the City Planning Board has recommended that said permit be granted
pursuant to the application,a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof
by this reference, and the conditions set out in Exhibit "B"attached hereto and made a part hereof
by this reference. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT,the Special Use Permit application for permission to allow Automotive rentals
in a CC-Community Commercial District,located at 3131 North 90th Street,Omaha,Nebraska, is
hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit
therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit "A" of the above referenced application,
conditions set out in Exhibit 'B",and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations
are complied with.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT,the proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant
to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
