RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, pursuant to the provisions of Section 13-1821,Revised Statutes of Nebraska,
1943,as amended by Revised Statutes, Supplement 1986,the Transit Authority of the City of Omaha
Board certified to the City Council of the City of Omaha a tax rate for the year 1998 to assist in the
defraying of all character of expenses of the Authority; and,
THAT,the City Council of the City of Omaha hereby certifies to the County Clerk
of Douglas County,Nebraska,the number of cents or fraction thereof which the Transit Authority
of the City of Omaha Board desires to be levied on each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of actual
valuation upon all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Omaha for the year 1998
for the purpose as follows:
$.0504 cents to assist in the defraying of all character of expenses of the Authority.
