Attached for your consideration is a Resolution appointing Don G. Moore to serve as the Union
Master Plumber member on the Plumbing Board. The term of Mr. Tom Eyman has expired on the
Plumbing Board effective November 1, 1997. Mr. Don Moore has been appointed to serve a term
of three years, expiring in the year 2000. This term will commence on the day of confirmation by
the City Council.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS,Section 18-1901,Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943, as amended, and
sections 49-21 through 49-24,Article II,Chapter 49,of the Omaha Municipal Code, provide for the
appointment of members to the Plumbing Board; and,
WHEREAS,Tom Eyman was appointed on November 1, 1994 as the Union Master
Plumber member on the Plumbing Board to serve until November 1, 1997; and,
WHEREAS, the term of Tom Eyman has expired on the Plumbing Board effective
November 1, 1997 and a vacancy for a Union Master Plumber member on the Plumbing Board now
exists; and,
WHEREAS,Mayor Daub has appointed Don G. Moore, as a Union Master Plumber
member on the plumbing Board, said term to commence on the date of confirmation by the City
Council and to expire three years thereafter.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the appointment by the Mayor of Don G. Moore, as the Union Master
Plumber member on the Plumbing Board, said term to commence on the date of confirmation by the
City Council and to expire three years thereafter, is hereby confirmed.
