The attached Ordinance provides for the transfer of$135,000.00 in the 1997
Budget of the City of Omaha from the General Fund Contingency Reserve
Account to the Police Department Non-Personal Services, Special Operations
Bureau; to be utilized by the Air Support Unit. This money will be utilized for
the helicopter consultant services.
The specific information relative to the consultant contract-is outlined in a
separate resolution.

AN ORDINANCE in accordance with Section 5.10 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha,
1956, as amended, to transfer$135,000 in the 1997 Budget of the City of Omaha from the
General Fund Contingency Reserve Account to the Police Department Non-Personal
Services, Special Operations Bureau; to provide an appropriation to the Police Department
in that amount for use by the Helicopter Unit for professional consulting services; and to fix
the effective date hereof to be immediately upon passage in accordance with Section 2.12 of
the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. The following transfer of unencumbered funds is hereby made between balances
in the following departments,divisions and other budgetary accounts in the 1997 Budget of the City
of Omaha:
