WHEREAS, bids were received on May 17, 2023 for the 4429 South 19 Street, 3936 L Street,
3512 California Street, 3514 California Street, 2740 Mary Street, 4219 Patrick Avenue, 624 Bancroft
Street, 4104 Miami Street, 3215 Seward Street, 3317 Cass Street, 3510 Burdette Street, 135 North 36
Street, 3851 Charles Street, 4304 Franklin Street, 4612 Bedford Avenue City of Omaha Soil
Remediation Program Project; and,
WHEREAS, EGM Inc. submitted a bid of $311,500.00, being the lowest and best bid within the
bid specifications for the 4429 South 19 Street, 3936 L Street, 3512 California Street, 3514 California
Street, 2740 Mary Street, 4219 Patrick Avenue, 624 Bancroft Street, 4104 Miami Street, 3215 Seward
Street, 3317 Cass Street, 3510 Burdette Street, 135 North 36 Street, 3851 Charles Street, 4304 Franklin
Street, 4612 Bedford Avenue City of Omaha Soil Remediation Program Project; and,
WHEREAS, EGM Inc. has complied with the City's Contract Compliance Ordinance No. 28885 in
relation to Civil Rights- Human Relations.; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
That, as recommended by the Mayor, the Purchasing Agent be authorized to issue a Purchase
Order to EGM Inc. for the 4429 South 19 Street, 3936 L Street, 3512 California Street, 3514 California
Street, 2740 Mary Street, 4219 Patrick Avenue, 624 Bancroft Street, 4104 Miami Street, 3215 Seward
Street, 3317 Cass Street, 3510 Burdette Street, 135 North 36 Street, 3851 Charles Street, 4304 Franklin
Street, 4612 Bedford Avenue City of Omaha Soil Remediation Program Project; and that the Finance
Department is authorized to pay the cost of the project in the amount of $311,500.00 from City of Omaha
- U.S. EPA Cooperative Agreement Assistance ID No. V-97799901 out of Lead Hazard Fund 12136,
