The attached is a proposed amendment to the Kellom Heights Redevelopment Agreement approved
under Ordinance No. 32851 on December 8, 1992. The amendment is administrative in nature and
does not increase or change the authorized funding level of the project. The amendment proposes
a change in the project legal description to reduce the size of the TIF project boundary and to create
two additional lots for further development. The amendment is requested by the Omaha Economic
Development Corporation which has secured financing for the development of a eight-plex on
Lot 1. Lot 3,for the present time,will remain as a green space and a recreational area until such time
as additional financing is made available. The multi-family housing project will accommodate the
increasing demand for housing for low to moderate family persons in the North Omaha community.
The ordinance specifically changes the legal description of the current project site.
Your favorable consideration of the proposed amendment to the Kellom Heights Redevelopment
Agreement Stage One Project Area is requested.

AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 32851 which approved a redevelopment and tax
increment financing loan agreement with the Omaha Economic Development Corporation.
The Amendment changes the legal description of the project site.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. Exhibits "A" and "B", referenced in Section 1, items 1.4 and 1.5 of Ordinance
32851, are replaced in their entirety by Exhibit "A" attached.
Section 2. This Amendment to the Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect
immediately upon the date of its passage and execution.

AMENDMENT TO THE KELLOM HEIGHTS REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
The Omaha Economic Development Corporation and the City of Omaha do hereby agree as follows:
Exhibits "A" and "B", referenced in Section 1, items 1.4 and 1.5 of Ordinance 32851, are
