1. Special Use Permit: Propose use to be surface parking. Parking
for Mutual of Omaha employees between the hours of 6:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. Parking provided for 45 employees. Access to
parking lot is from 33rd Street.
2. Zoning Board of Appeals waivers have been requested.
a. Section 55-740(f)(4): Rear(north) perimeter landscaping
required to be ten feet adjacent to a residential district;
six feet is provided.
b. Section 55-740(f)(5): Five percent interior landscaping
required of 725 square feet. In lieu of 725 square feet of
interior landscaping, approximately 800 square feet of
additional perimeter landscaping is provided along the
east property line.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS,Section 55-884 of the Omaha Municipal Code, provides for the granting
of a Special Use Permit; and,
WHEREAS, an application has been submitted for a Special Use Permit to allow
Surface Parking in a GO-General Office District,located at 3222-24 Dodge Street,Omaha,Nebraska;
and,
WHEREAS,the City Planning Board has recommended that said permit be granted
pursuant to the application,a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"and made a part hereof
by this reference,'and the conditions set out in Exhibit "B"attached hereto and made a part hereof i
by this reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:.
THAT, the Special Use Permit application for permission to allow Surface Parking
in a GO-General Office District, located at 3222-24 Dodge Street, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby
approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor,
provided the conditions set out in Exhibit"A"of the above referenced application, conditions set out
in Exhibit "B",and all applicable local or state statutes,ordinances or regulations are complied with.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT,the proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant
to,and meets each of,the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
