RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, there now exists a vacancy on the Human Relations Board due to the
expiration of the term of Joseph Barker III; and,
WHEREAS, Sections 13-43 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the
appointment of members to the Human Relations Board; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Hal Daub has re-appointed Joseph Barker III to serve on the
Human Relations Board, said term to commence on the date of confirmation by the City Council
and to expire three years thereafter.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the re-appointment by Mayor Hal Daub of Joseph Barker III as a member of
the Human Relations Board, commencing on the date of confirmation by the City Council and
expiring three years thereafter, is hereby confirmed.
