The costs for the building demolition were paid to the contractor . The Finance Department desires
to remove the assessment and clear the lien from the property records.

AN ORDINANCE to amend certain portions of Special Levy Ordinance No. 9917 levying an
assessment for building demolition in the year 1996, by repealing the assessment on
Dellowes-Fred-Addition, Lot 9, Block 3 the West 31 feet to the City of Omaha, Douglas
County,Nebraska.
WHEREAS, Special Levy Ordinance No. 9917 was passed by the City Council of the City of
Omaha on October 8, 1996,levying a special assessment for building demolition on a certain
lot in the City of Omaha, and it has been ascertained that the assessment on the following
described property and in the amount so levied by Special Ordinance No. 9917 should be
repealed. The costs for the building demolition were paid to the contractor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That such portion of Special. Ordinance No. 9917, passed October 8, 1996,
relating to and levying the special assessment for building demolition upon the following described
property:
