AMENDED STATEMENT OF PROPOSED USE
The Applicant seeks a special use permit to construct and operate a Land Rover dealership
and a Jaguar dealership immediately west of the Lexus dealership that is located at 13025 West
Dodge Road. The Applicant owns and operates the existing Lexus dealership at 13025 West Dodge
Road, and generally speaking,the proposed dealerships will be operated in the same manner as the
existing Lexus dealership.
The Applicant initially proposed to construct two buildings,which were each 6,000 square
feet (which is a total of 12,000 square feet). Under the initial proposal, the Applicant was to
construct the two buildings in separate phases. The first phase was to be the construction of the
6,000 square foot building for the Land Rover dealership, and the second phase was to be the
construction of the 6,000 square foot building for the Jaguar dealership. A site plan,a rendering and
two Exhibits containing the building,parking and landscaping information for the two 6,000 square
foot buildings were submitted as a part of the initial application.
Alternatively, the Applicant seeks p to construct and operate one building

with a total of 12,000 square feet("the Alternate Plan"),which is the same total square footage
as the initial plan for two buildings. The single 12,000 square foot building would be in
accordance with the site plan that is attached hereto marked as Exhibit"1"and incorporated

Regardless of whether there is one building or two,the Applicant proposes to sell and service

6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The dealerships will be closed on Sundays. The number of
employees may be about 10 initially and could be as high as 30 or so at a maximum.

WHEREAS,Section 55-884 of the Omaha Municipal Code,provides for the granting
of a Special Use Permit; and,
WHEREAS, an application has been submitted for a Special Use Permit to allow
Automotive Sales in a CC-Community Commercial District,located Southeast of 132nd Street and
West Dodge Road, Omaha,Nebraska; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Board has recommended that said permit be granted
pursuant to the application, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof
by this reference, and the conditions set out in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof
by this reference.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the Special Use Permit application for permission to allow Automotive Sales
in a CC-Community Commercial District,located Southeast of 132nd Street and West Dodge Road,
Omaha,Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue
the necessary permit therefor,provided the conditions set out in Exhibit "A" of the above referenced
application, conditions set out in Exhibit "B", and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances
or regulations are complied with.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT,the proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant
to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
