RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 14-23 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the
appointment to the Library Board; and,
WHEREAS, Edward J. Trandahl was appointed to the Library Board to serve a term
that expired on June 30, 1999, and,
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Library Board by reason of the expiration of the
term of Edward J. Trandahl, as a member of said Library Board; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Hal Daub has reappointed Edward J. Trandahl to serve on the
Library Board, said term to commence upon confirmation by the City Council and expiring on June
30, 2002.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the reappointment by Mayor Hal Daub of Edward J. Trandahl as a member
of the Library Board upon confirmation by the City Council and expiring on June 30,2002,is hereby
confirmed.
