RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the Papillion Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility of the Public Works
Department is in need of Moyno Pump Parts; and,
WHEREAS, due to the specialized nature of this type of equipment and service, it is
recommended that the bidding procedures be waived in accordance with Section 5.16 of the Home
Rule Charter of 1956 for the purchase of unique or non-competitive items; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of this purchase, totaling $60,000.00, will be paid from the Sewer
Revenue Fund 21121, Papio Creek Recovery Facility Maintenance Organization 116614, year
2023 funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the Purchasing Agent be authorized to issue a
Purchase Order to JCI Industries, Inc. for the purchase of Moyno Pump Parts, to be utilized by the
Papillion Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility, in the amount of $60,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of this purchase from the Sewer
Revenue Fund 21121, Papio Creek Recovery Facility Maintenance Organization 116614, year
2023 funding.
